    The official website of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine revealed on Thursday that an anime adaptation of Chimaki Kuori's Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō spinoff manga has been green-lit. The website does not reveal the anime's format (such as film, television, video anime, or net anime,)

    New Bleach Novel by Durarara's Ryohgo Narita

    Slated For Spring

    Shueisha reported on Tuesday that the upcoming Bleach novel by Ryohgo Narita (Baccano!, Durarara!!) is slated for next spring. The announcement also revealed the cover art (seen below) for Makoto Matsubara's separate December 27 Bleach: WE DO knot ALWAYS LOVE YOU novel based on Tite Kubo's manga.

    Narita's novel centers on Shūhei Hisagi. Shūhei must throw himself into a new fight as the mystery that Kaname Tōsen left behind resurfaces. The story will reveal more details about the four noble families, the Soul King, Arrancar, and Fullbringers. Narita previously wrote the two-volume Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You novel series, which Shueisha published in 2012.

    More Details Revealed

    The combined second and third issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing more details on Monday for the novels that Makoto Matsubara and Ryohgo Narita (Baccano!, Durarara!!) are writingfor Tite Kubo's Bleach manga.

    Matsubara is writing the Bleach: WE DO knot ALWAYS LOVE YOU novel, which will center on Rukia and Renji's wedding ceremony in Soul Society. The novel will ship on December 27. Matsubara previously wrote the Bleach: The Death Save The Strawberry novel (pictured at right), which Shueisha published in 2012.

    Nakaba’s Nanatsu Creator of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Hospitalized

    Manga Hiatus Until January

    The first issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine for 2017 is announcing that Suzuki Nakaba’s Nanatsu no Taizai manga will be going on hiatus until January. The manga will be taking a break due to surgery which Nakaba will be undergoing. As such there is no chapter scheduled for Nanatsu no Taizai in the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine. As a replacement however the magazine will carry a special 4 page omake in lieu of the chapter.
